Being Someone’s Prayer Champion:
Prayer Champions pray for their people and send an encouraging note to them approximately once a week, unless more or less frequent contact is appropriate.
Prayer Champions will receive tips, ideas, and prayer prompts via the church app approximately once a week, through the app group “Champions Club" for your Champion category. You can just find your group under the Connect tab and then push the Join button.
For ease of contact and to protect privacy, all initial Prayer Champion contact will happen through the church app, using the Messaging feature.
Type the person’s name into the Messaging portion of the church app to message them.
If you are the Prayer Champion for someone under 18, include a parent in all contact unless instructed otherwise by their parent.

Prayer Champion Prayer Suggestions:
Start with praying the Numbers 6:24-26 blessing prayer:
“Name, the Lord bless you and keep you: the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Ask them, “What are you asking God to do in your life this week?” Make their answer the focus of your prayers for them that week.
Follow up the following week to ask how and if those prayers have been answered.
